Drew McIntyre made a surprise return to the latest edition of Raw on December 2, and he certainly made an impact by delivered a brutal Claymore Kick to Zayn. After Seth Rollins defeated Sami Zayn in the main event, McIntyre appeared from the crowd and delivered his signature move to stun the WWE Universe.
Former Intercontinental champion, Zayne was more focused on seeking revenge from Rollins rather than victory. He accused Rollins of attacking Jey Uso earlier in the night. Rollins denied the accusation and urged Sami to think for himself just before McIntyre nearly took his head off with the Claymore.
After Raw went off the air, McIntyre took to social media with a pointed message,“If you don’t hear it from me live on WWE TV or on my social channels, assume every single thing you hear about Drew McIntyre is BS. Oh, and how soon you all forget.”
When was Drew McIntyre’s last appearance in WWE?
McIntyre’s last WWE appearance was at Bad Blood 2024, where he faced CM Punk in a brutal Hell in a Cell match in Atlanta, Georgia. Drew was defeated by Punk in that match, and their feud has been one of the most intense rivalries of the year in pro wrestling. The grueling clash left McIntyre with a serious laceration that required 16 staples
Although WWE has yet to confirm who attacked Jey Uso, all signs point to McIntyre being the culprit. However, other potential suspects can’t be ruled out, considering the history of the OG faction and their ongoing feud with Solo Sikoa’s rogue Bloodline.
