Indian Railway Superfast train: Indian Railways is the fourth largest rail network in the world. Railways, which reaches every corner of the country, is continuously expanding its facilities and speed. Luxury trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi have now become a thing of the past. Vande Bharat Express and Bullet Train are being discussed in the country. Railways is working on a plan to run high-speed trains to take people to their destinations as soon as possible. The speed of high-speed trains will be 280 kilometers per hour. That means, if this train is run between Delhi and Patna, it will take only 4 hours to cover the distance of 1000 kilometers. At present Rajdhani Express takes 12 to 13 hours to cover this distance.
Wind speed from Delhi to Patna
According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Indian Railways is designing trains running at a speed of 280 kilometers per hour. Railway high-speed train sets or bullet trains are being designed at the Integral Coach Factory (Chennai) in collaboration with BEML. If this trial is successful then you will be able to reach Patna from Delhi in just 240 minutes i.e. 4 hours. Let us tell you that the distance from Delhi to Bihar’s capital Patna is 1000 kilometers. This train running at a speed of 280 kilometers per hour will cover this distance in just 4 hours.
After Vande Bharat train, now discussion about bullet train
These trains are being manufactured under the Make in India initiative. After the success of Vande Bharat trains, Railways has now started designing and manufacturing high-speed train sets. Just as the semi-high speed train Vande Bharat became popular as soon as it was launched, similarly this high-speed train of the Railways can also become popular. For this, Railways is increasing its focus on infrastructure.
how much will it cost
According to the information given by the Railway Minister, the cost of manufacturing the coach of this high speed train will be around Rs 28 crore. You can estimate the cost from the fact that this train will be completely different from ordinary trains. This train is being built on the design of an aerodynamic, air-tight car body with modern technology.
The first bullet train will run between Ahmedabad and Mumbai
The work of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) project being prepared in collaboration with Japan is progressing rapidly. So far, 336 km pier foundation, 331 km pier construction, 260 km girder casting and 225 km girder launching work have been completed. Along with this, the work of making tunnel under the sea has also started.
