Moscow, 03 December (Hindustan Reporter). Kremlin confidant Konstantin Malofeyev thinks Russian President Vladimir Putin will likely reject US President-elect Donald Trump’s Ukraine peace deal. He said there is still a half-chance (50-50) if ‘one of Moscow’s demands that are legally binding for Kiev’ are added to the final agreement. According to The Moscow Times, Konstantin Malofeyev expressed this opinion in an interview. He said Moscow wants Trump to reverse Washington’s approval of Ukraine to use its missiles inside Russian territory. Regarding the proposed talks between Trump and Putin, he said that it should not be about the future of Ukraine, but about the future of Europe and the world. He said that Moscow wants Trump to stop the war in the Middle East, Russia with China. Discuss the alliance and America’s acceptance. “We want long-term peace for the global order,” Malofeyev said.
Konstantin Malofeyev reiterated Putin’s nuclear threat in response to skepticism about Keith Kellogg, Trump’s recently nominated special envoy for the war in Ukraine. Kellogg expressed suspicion that Putin would start a nuclear war in Europe in response to Ukraine’s Western agreement to move arms to Russia. Malofeyev said that Russia can fire tactical nuclear weapons. It is noteworthy that during his presidential campaign, Trump had promised to quickly end Russia’s nearly three-year war in Ukraine. Putin has publicly demanded that Ukraine give up some territory in its east and south as a precondition for stopping the fighting. Ukrainian President Zelensky said on Sunday that his country needs security guarantees from NATO and more weapons to defend itself before any talks with Russia.
