Veteran Indian badminton player PV Sindhu is all set to tie the knot on December 22 in Udaipur to Hyderabad-based Venkata Datta Sai. The development of her wedding comes only days after Sindhu clinched the Syed Modi badminton tournament title recently, ending a long-standing drought of not winning one. However, fans are intrigued to know the background of Venkata Datta Sai.

Having earned his Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Foundation of Liberal and Management Education, Venkata is highly accomplished in various fields. The year 2018 saw him finish his BBA in Accounting and Finance from Flame University Bachelor of Business and followed it up with a Master’s Degree in Data Science and Machine Learning  from International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.

Venkata has also worked with JSW as a summer intern and an in-house consultant apart from managing an IPL team. He wrote the following on Linkedin

“My BBA in finance and economics pales in comparison to managing an IPL team, but I must admit I learned a lot from both of these experiences.”

Apart from this, he has been serving as Managing Director for Sour Apple Asset Management alongside working as an Executive Director in Posidex. Addressing the same, Venkata wrote on Linkedin:

“The loan that you get in 12 seconds or the credit card that you have thanks to the instant credit score matching? Just some of the most complex problems I solve using a proprietary entity resolution search engine. My solutions and products are deployed for critical operations at some of the biggest banks from HDFC to ICICI.”

“The two families knew each other but it was only a month ago that everything was finalised” – PV Sindhu’s father

PV Sindhu’s father PV Ramana stated that having known one another for quite a long time, the families decided to fix the marriage as he elaborated on the details. Ramana told PTI:

“The two families knew each other but it was only a month ago that everything was finalised. This was the only possible window as her schedule will be hectic from January. So that is the reason the two families decided to have the marriage ceremony on December 22. The reception will be held in Hyderabad on December 24. She will start her training soon after as the next season is going to be important.”
