Justin Kluivert makes history against Wolves
Bournemouth defeated Wolves 4-2 in an exciting premier league match at Molineux on Saturday, with Justin Kluivert making history by scoring a hat-trick of penalties. The penalties came from fouls on striker Evanilson. Evanilson also gained a bit of Premier League history by becoming the first player to win three penalties in the same match.
Not only was it the first hat-trick of penalties in the Premier League era, but also the first in the English top flight since Ken Barnes scored three for Manchester City in a 6-2 victory against Everton at Maine Road on 7 December, 1957.
Kluivert’s first penalty was awarded after just three minutes, with the second and third coming at 18 and 74 minutes. He now has five Premier League goals this season, adding to his tally from the wins over Arsenal and the loss to Brentford. The win provisionally moved Bournemouth up to 11th in the table, while Wolves dropped into the relegation zone.

Who is Justin Kluivert?
Justin is the son of Barcelona and Netherlands legend Patrick Kluivert. The 25-year-old has already played internationally for the Netherlands and was at Ajax and Roma, with loan spells at RB Leipzig, Nice and Valencia, before joining Bournemouth from Roma in June 2023.
