A shocking case of daylight robbery has been reported from Lucknow’s Vikasnagar where two unidentified men on a bike snatched the purse of an inspector’s daughter and dragged her several meters.
The incident, captured on CCTV, has since gone viral on social media.

As per reports, the victim, identified as Reena Chauhan, a resident of Jankipuram Garden, was walking home from her children’s school in Aliganj when the incident occurred on Friday afternoon.
Two miscreants on a bike without a number plate approached her, snatched her purse, and fled the scene. Reena resisted, holding onto her purse, but was dragged for several meters, resulting in injuries.
Reena’s father, OP Chauhan, serves as an inspector in Balrampur, while her husband manages an educational institute in Varanasi. Her daughter and son are students at a private school in Aliganj.
Following the robbery, Reena immediately reported the matter to the police. Authorities have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
