Managing Trustee of Chingari, Rashida Bee said that the aim of the event was to remember the pain and trauma their loved ones have gone through. These children also want to send a message to the world that the kind of tragedy that happened in Bhopal should not happen anywhere else in the world.
These children were not sacrificed by nature, the poison of Union Carbide/Dow Chemical has made people disabled. ‘We need to learn from this tragedy and build a world where companies cannot spread such poison and disabled children are not born,’ she added.
