Bhopal, 30 November (HS). Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel said that Gujaratis are a special society in the country and the world, which wherever they go, the Vasudhaiva family remains organized in the spirit of Vedic culture. They come together as a community and share each other’s happiness and sorrow. That is why it is said that where Gujaratis settle, Gujarat settles there. The work of implementing this statement is done by All India Gujarati Samaj Sangathan.
Governor Patel was addressing the oath taking program organized by All India Gujarati Samaj on Saturday. He said that it is a big responsibility for the organization to connect the future generation with Gujarati culture and traditions through various programs and activities. Congratulated Sanjaybhai Patel, President of Bhopal Gujarati Samaj, on becoming the head of this important organization unopposed.
The program was organized at Gujarati Bhawan, Bhopal. Governor Patel was welcomed by the society with memento and shawl. The Governor and guests inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Governor Patel honored the state heads/national officials of the society in the program. The people present were made to take the oath of disciplined life campaign.
Addressing the program, Governor Patel said that I am very happy that the program is being conducted in the mother tongue Gujarati. He said that the responsibility of organizing society is not a function of empowerment, but a responsibility of accountability. The task is to take everyone along. He appreciated the style of Patel, the newly elected head of All India Gujarati Samaj, in working with everyone and with trust in the organizational activities of the society. Mentioning the experience and work done as Treasurer and General Secretary in the organization. Congratulated the members of All India Gujarati Samaj for the selection of a worthy person as the head of the organization.
On this occasion, All India Gujarati Samaj chief Himanshu Kumar Mehta, Chetan Patel, Paresh T Thakkar and scholar Jaibhai Vasavada were present on the stage.
