Top Taxpayers: Shahrukh Khan is not called King Khan for nothing. Shahrukh Khan is on top in Bollywood not only in terms of his dominance and earnings but also in terms of paying taxes. If we look at the top five people of the country in terms of paying taxes, then Shahrukh Khan’s name comes first.

Shahrukh Khan has become the highest tax paying person.

Talking about the financial year 2023-24, Shahrukh Khan has become the highest tax payer by paying a total tax of Rs 92 crore. It is noteworthy that last year Shahrukh’s three films ‘Pathan’, ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Danki’ were released, out of which ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawaan’ wrote a new history of earning at the box office.

Second highest taxpayer GOAT actor Vijay is from Tamil film industry

In terms of earning and paying taxes, it is not Bollywood but the people of Tamil film industry who are at second place. We are talking about GOAT actor Vijay who has recently hinted at retiring from films by forming a political party. Vijay has paid around Rs 80 crore as tax and thus he has become the highest tax paying celebrity after Shahrukh Khan.

Bollywood’s Bhaijaan is at number three

In terms of paying taxes, Salman Khan comes third, who is once again ruling the hearts of people by becoming the host of ‘Bigg Boss’. In the financial year 2023-2024, Salman Khan paid a total of ₹ 75 crore as tax and thus secured the third position in the list of tax payers.

Shahenshah and Big B got fourth place

Amitabh Bachchan, considered the emperor of acting and hosting ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ for the last 24 years, has got the fourth position as a tax payer. He paid four crore less tax than Salman Khan, i.e. by paying Rs 71 crore as tax, Big B confirmed his place in the top 5.

Cricketer Virat Kohli got fifth place in top 5

The top 5 in the list of highest individual tax payers includes three Bollywood actors and one South actor, while the fifth position has been taken by a non-actor. He is none other than Virat Kohli, the famous cricketer and husband of Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. He has secured fifth position in this list by paying Rs 66 crore as tax.
