During this, the attackers targeted Shantaneshwari Mata Temple, Shani Temple and Shantaneshwari Kalibari Temple. The news portal quoted temple officials as saying that a group of hundreds of people raised slogans and threw bricks and stones. Due to which Shani temple and two other temples were damaged. Kotwali police station chief Abdul Karim confirmed the attack and said that the attackers who attacked the temples had tried to damage the temples. Raghav Chadha has demanded a censure motion
On Friday, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha presented a motion in the Rajya Sabha demanding passing of a condemnation motion against Bangladesh. Raghav Chadha said that the atrocities and attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh should be discussed. Recently, a demand for debate was raised on the illegal arrest of ISKCON saint Chinmoy Das. He said, ‘On this, I tried to put forward this demand, what is being discussed with the Bangladesh government, what steps have been taken to save Hindus from extremism in Bangladesh, apart from the government’s answer on this, there will be full discussion in the House. Should be discussed. A resolution should be brought together in the House condemning the arrest of Chinmoy Das.
