A groom in Bengaluru mentioned forgetting his Haldi dress on the special day. Ramnath Shenoy took to social media confessing that packing his yellow ‘kurta’ slipped his mind. On the big day, where he had to participate in pre-wedding rituals, he claimed to forget his pre-decided wear for the day.

“Haldi morning chaos = forgot my yellow kurta. Family wrath loading”, he wrote.

Groom forgets his Kurta, but does THIS later

Netizens were in disbelief that someone could forget their dress on their own Haldi ceremony. They were equally surprised with the incident which made people laugh too, wondering who forgets the special kurta on their Haldi day.

Soon, Shenoy stated what happened next. For not having his Kurta for the rituals, he experienced wrath from his family members only until he managed to purchase a new one in minutes.

The to-be husband revealed in his post, giving a shout out to Swiggy Instamart, that he ordered a fresh piece of yellow Kurta online, which was delivered to his doorstep in less than ten minutes.

Impressed with the instant delivery service, he wrote, “Instamart saved the day with a Manyavar kurta in 8 minutes”. “Here’s me rocking it 10 minutes later”, Shenoy wrote captioning his photo with his Haldi day Kurta.

Netizens surprised

Undoubtedly, his post went viral across internet platforms, where netizens were left surprised by the incident.

“Woah woah.. dulha forgets the kurta?? you gonna get some wrath for this forever buddy”, one wrote. “Good but seems like you’re just bad at organising. besides, it clearly reads like an ad”, added another.

However, the Bengaluru man clarified that he only shared his personal experience online and it wasn’t any sort of a staged promotion.
