South superstar Allu Arjun is currently busy with the promotions of his much-awaited film Pushpa: The Rule. On Friday (November 30), the makers organised a press meet in Mumbai which was graced by Allu Arjun and his co-star Rashmika Mandanna. Several pictures and videos from the event have been doing the rounds. However, a journalist who was invited for the event, shared an unpleasant experience on social media.

A senior journalist, Vibha Kaul Bhat, alleged that her phone was snatched by the actor’s manager during the event, which took place at JW Marriott in Juhu.

The video was posted on Instagram in collaboration with the official account of Saas Bahu Aur Saazish. It shows Allu Arjun making a grand entry. He was surrounded by several security officials as he made his way near the stage and sat with the media. He also posed for the shutterbugs.

All this was being recorded by the journalist, however, soon after the event began, Allu Arjun’s manager allegedly asked her to stop shooting. According to a report in ABP, the manager also snatched the journalist’s phone after which it fell on the ground.

Journalist shares unpleasant experience

Sharing details about the incident, the senior journalist informed ABP, “We were at Pushpa 2 promotional event when suddenly a man approached and tried to snatch my phone from my hand. He then started yelling at me, saying, ‘Stop it, don’t shoot.'”

She continued, “When I asked him who he was, he identified himself as Allu Arjun’s manager. I pointed out that this was a media and press event. Despite this, he snatched my phone.”

The video was shared on Instagram with the caption, “Actor Allu Arjun’s manager snatches our phone for shooting him as he arrives for a press meet…. Snatching and then throwing down the phone, the star needs to really look at people around him, it reflects badly on him.”

Reacting to the video, a user commented, “This speaks volumes about you as a person! You trained ur staff poorly!! Stardom has gone over ur head bro.”

About Pushpa: The Rule

Pushpa 2 is finally set to hit the theatres on December 5, 2024. The film has been granted a U/A certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification, and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the film a grand pan-India success.

Reportedly, Pushpa 2 will have a runtime of 3 hours 20 minutes in theatres, making it one of the longest films of Indian cinema.

Besides Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the film stars Fahadh Faasil as the main antagonist. After the mammoth success of Pushpa: The Rise, the makers are expecting an even bigger and better response for the sequel, which has already generated immense buzz across the country.
