Cyclone Fengal: The deep depression formed over the South West Bay of Bengal took the form of a cyclonic storm on Friday.

This information was given by the Indian Meteorological Department. IMD said that the deep depression over Fengal, south-western Bay of Bengal, intensified into a cyclonic storm in the region at 2:30 pm IST today on November 29.

Now this cyclonic storm named Fengal is likely to reach near Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coastal region on the afternoon of 30 November. At that time the wind speed can reach 90 km per hour. This may cause high waves in the sea.

Meanwhile, the sea has taken a dangerous form in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. According to the information of the Meteorological Department, this cyclone can enter Mahabalipuram and its surrounding areas tomorrow afternoon.

A drone video has been taken on the beach of Mahabalipuram. Sea waves are higher than normal and people have been advised to remain cautious after high tide.
