Champions Trophy 2025: Board of Control for Cricket in India secretary Jay Shah and Indian women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur unveiled India’s new ODI jersey in Mumbai on Friday.
Some changes have been made in the new jersey. Team India’s new ODI jersey has the Indian flag tricolor on its shoulders. The Indian team has to wear this jersey in the Champions Trophy 2025.
The board shared the video
BCCI has shared a video of the jersey unveiling program on Instagram. The caption accompanying this video reads, BCCI Honorary Secretary Jay Shah and Indian team captain Harmanpreet Kaur unveiled the new ODI jersey of the Indian team. The event was org.zed at the BCCI headquarters.
Indian captain expressed happiness
Indian women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur said, it is an honor for me that the new jersey was unveiled in my presence. I am very happy with her look. I am especially happy with the tricolor on the shoulders because West Indies we will wear this jersey. Wearing the Indian team jersey is always special, a lot of hard work goes behind this jersey. I hope Indian fans will embrace this jersey.
Indian team will wear this jersey next month
The Indian women’s cricket team will take the field against the West Indies women’s cricket team wearing this new jersey. West Indies women’s team will soon tour India for a series of 3 T20 and as many ODI matches. The T20 series will start from 15th December and the ODI series will start from 22nd December. All the matches of T20 series will be played in Nabi Mumbai and all the matches of ODI series will be played in Vadodara.
