The grand and attractive stage of Lakhimpur Mahotsav at Mendhak Mandir Oil, the dazzling colorful rays of light, small and big artistes, dancing artists on the stage, were forcing the audience to gaze at them. The night candle lit so brightly that everyone remained sitting at their place. The thunderous applause of thousands echoing in the atmosphere continued intermittently till late evening.
On the open space stage of Lakhimpur Mahotsav, MLA Sadar Yogesh Verma, DM Durga Shakti Nagpal, SP Ganesh Prasad Saha, CDO Abhishek Kumar, President Nagar Panchayat Oil Pratibha encouraged the artists.
The Lakhimpur Mahotsav concluded late Thursday evening after a series of cultural programs at the Frog Temple Oil. On the occasion of the closing ceremony, DM Durga Shakti Nagpal, SP Ganesh Prasad Saha honored the coordinators of the programs org.zed during the festival and the concerned officers and employees for the successful org.zation. The fireworks during this period thrilled the audience.
Addressing the program, DM Durga Shakti Nagpal said that it is a moment of happiness that Lakhimpur Mahotsav 2024, the festival of Terai soil, is hoisting the flag of success. Many artists entertained the public even in this cold wave by giving their performances in the festival. The idea behind the festival is to encourage folk traditions and folk art. Provide a platform to new artists and inspire them to move forward.
MLA Sadar Yogesh Verma said in his address that on the initiative of DM Durga Shakti Nagpal, an unprecedented and historic festival was org.zed at five different places in Lakhimpur Kheri. The secret of the success of Lakhimpur Mahotsav 2024, a festival of the soil of this Terai, is hidden in the vision of the District Magistrate.
