Katihar, 29 November (HS). Principal Chief Operation Manager (PCOM) BB Gupta from Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) Headquarters Maligaon conducted a surprise inspection of Katihar Railway Division on Friday. During this, he closely inspected the RRI cabin located in the railway complex, the goods train shed at R.patra station of Katihar Purnia railway section etc. and gave several instructions to the concerned railway officials.
After his inspection, PCOM Shri Gupta held a meeting with all the railway officers including DRM Surendra Kumar, ADRM Manoj Kumar Singh in the auditorium located at the Divisional Railway Manager’s office. He said that this was his annual routine inspection and his priority was to see the regular movement of goods trains with train punctuality under the Railway Division.
PCOM Shri Gupta said that no compromise can be made towards the safety and security of passengers in the railway division. He has given several instructions to the concerned officials. During the inspection along with PCOM Shri Gupta, Senior DCM Dheeraj Chandra Kalita, DCM Sangeeta Meena, DOM IC, Station Superintendent Sanjeet Kumar Thakur and many operating and commercial officers and employees were present on the spot.
