Pakistan Cricket Board is going to host the Champions Trophy next year. But the dispute between BCCI and PCB regarding the organization of this tournament is not ending. Now ICC has organized a virtual meeting between the two boards to resolve the differences. It is expected that during this time ICC will put pressure on Pakistan to organize the tournament in hybrid model. Meanwhile, now PCB has given a new threat, in which it has said that if this happens then it will take revenge of the Champions Trophy in future and will make a similar demand against India.
Pakistan will take revenge in this tournament
After the Champions Trophy, two big tournaments are to be held in India. India will host the Women’s ODI World Cup next year. After this, Men’s T20 World Cup will be organized in India and Sri Lanka in 2026. In view of this, PCB can also adopt the same stance as BCCI. The Telegraph quoted Pakistan Cricket Board sources as saying that if the Champions Trophy is forced to be held in a hybrid model, it will demand the same for the next two major tournaments.
