American pop-rock band Maroon 5 is set to perform in India for the first time at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai on December 3, 2024. Led by Adam Levine, the band also includes Jesse Carmichael, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton and Sam Farrar. The pre-sale tickets for selected customers went live on November 6, followed by the general sale on November 8. However, in a surprising twist, the tickets have not sold out yet, despite the concert being just four days away.

The general passes for Maroon 5’s India concert are currently priced at Rs 7,999, VIP tickets at Rs 13,999, Fan Pit passes at Rs 17,999, and Kotak Private Lounge tickets at Rs 24,999, all excluding taxes. The band’s fans can still get their hands on the tickets as they are available on Book My Show.

Maroon 5’s tickets still being available is unusual, especially considering the recent ticket craze for Coldplay and Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour, whose tickets were sold out within minutes as soon as they went live.

The band has given hit tracks including Sugar, Memories, Moves Like Jagger, One More Night, Sugar, Payphone, Girls Like You, She Will Be Loved, Animals and Cold, among others.

Maroon 5’s journey started in 1994 under the name Kara’s Flowers, while the band members were still in high school.

In 2002, the band first rose to fame with their debut album, Songs About Jane, which featured hits like This Love and more. Maroon 5 has charted 32 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, with three achieving Diamond certification in the U.S.
