Siddharth Kaul won the World Cup
Siddharth Kaul was a member of the Indian team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2008 under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. Siddharth took 10 wickets in the tournament and thus became the leading wicket-taker for India in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup.

Siddharth Kaul’s viral post
When I was playing in the streets of Punjab I saw a dream. The dream was to represent my country. In 2018, by the grace of God, I got cap number 75 in T20 International and number 221 in the ODI team. Now the time has come for me to end my career in India and announce my retirement.

I cannot express in words my gratitude for the love and support I received during the difficult times of my career. I want to thank God, who made the way for me. The fans gave endless support. My parents and family, who explained to me and believed in me, especially during injuries and my bad times.

I want to thank my teammates for the memories and camaraderie in the dressing room. Thanks to BCCI for making the young boy’s dream of representing India and winning the 2008 Under-19 World Cup and getting T20 and ODI caps in 2018 come true.

Memories made in IPL
Siddharth Kaul performed brilliantly as a bowler in the IPL. He started his IPL career playing for Delhi Daredevils in 2013 and played a key role for Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2017 to 2021. He took 16 wickets in 2017 and 2021 while becoming the joint second highest wicket taker in 2018.
