Jaipur, 28 November (HS). Fluctuations in mercury continue in the state. The night temperature in seven cities of the state was recorded below 10 degrees. Fatehpur’s night was the coldest with 6.6 degrees. The night temperature in four cities of the state was recorded below 11 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, apart from Fatehpur, Mount Abu recorded 7 degrees, Churu 8.2, Sirohi 8.4, Sangriya 8.7, Alwar 9.2 and Pil. 9.5 degrees. Barmer was the hottest on Thursday. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 32.9 and the minimum temperature was 16 degrees. The weather in the state remained mainly dry. In most parts of the state, the average amount of humidity in the air was recorded between 60 to 100 percent. Karauli, Jalore, Sriganganagar and Sikar recorded night temperatures below 11 degrees.

A slight decline was recorded in the night mercury of Jaipur, while a slight increase was recorded in the day mercury. An increase of 0.9 degrees was recorded in the maximum temperature of Jaipur and a decline of 0.2 degrees. However, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of a fall in mercury in the coming days.
