Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi took oath as MP in the Lok Sabha today. He won the by-election from Wayanad, Kerala. Priyanka Gandhi has been elected MP from Wayanad, Kerala. Priyanka has become MP for the first time by winning the Wayanad by-election. During the swearing-in ceremony, the Congress leader was holding a copy of the Constitution in his hand.
On the occasion of Priyanka Gandhi’s swearing-in ceremony, her husband Robert Vadra, son Rihan Vadra and daughter Miraya Vadra also reached the Lok Sabha. Apart from this, his mother Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul Gandhi were already present in the House. Rahul Gandhi himself is an MP from Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat, while Sonia Gandhi is a Rajya Sabha member.
Priyanka Gandhi has won the by-election on Wayanad Lok Sabha seat by more than 4 lakh 10 thousand votes. He entered the Lok Sabha by defeating Communist Party of India candidate Satyan Mokeri. BJP had made Navya Haridas its candidate from here.
