According to IMD, the depression over south-west Bay of Bengal has gradually moved towards north-northwest at a speed of 3 km per hour during the last 6 hours. Its effect will be seen even more clearly in the coming counting hours. Fears of possible damage due to cyclonic storms have increased. It will move north-northwestwards and reach near North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coast on the morning of 30 November as a deep depression.

According to the IMD, the deep depression is likely to move north-northwest and turn into a cyclonic storm. Special warning has been issued for people living in coastal areas. The strength of the cyclonic storm is likely to increase by Thursday evening.

A scientist from the Ahmedabad Center of the State Meteorological Department said that there is no possibility of major change in the temperature for two-three days. In some areas the temperature may increase by one or two degrees. Northern winds can affect the state. So the temperature may fall by two degrees. Meteorological Department scientist Abhimanyu Chauhan said that the atmosphere will remain dry in the state for the next seven days. He told that the minimum temperature recorded in Vadodara was 13.6 degrees. In other words, Vadodara recorded the coldest temperature in the state, followed by Ahmedabad at 16.1 degrees and Gandhinagar at 15.2 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, cold is going to increase in Gujarat due to northern winds. The temperature of some areas will drop. Due to western disturbance the temperature may drop by up to two degrees.
Meteorologist Ambalal Patel estimates that cold will increase in the state. By November 28, western disturbance will increase the cold. Another cyclone will hit the Bay of Bengal from December 2. Therefore, there is a possibility of cloudy weather in Gujarat on 15-17 December. There will be heavy rain in the northern hilly areas of India from December 22. There will be bone-chilling cold in Gujarat from 28th December.
