In another technological advancement, Sancheti Hospital has unveiled its Smart Ward initiative, introducing Pune’s first ward equipped with Dozee’s AI-powered Remote Monitoring System (RMS) and Early Warning System (EWS). This innovation aims to significantly enhance patient safety, monitoring and overall care.
Dr Parag Sancheti, Managing Director and Chairman of the Sancheti Group of Hospitals, emphasised the hospital’s ongoing commitment to redefining healthcare delivery. “Our role as healthcare leaders goes beyond treatment. It’s about embracing innovations that advance patient care,” he stated. The integration of Dozee’s advanced monitoring system marks a significant milestone in the hospital’s approach to patient care, signifying a shift from traditional, reactive medical responses to a more proactive, data-driven model focused on prevention,” he added.
The Smart Ward initiative will equip non-ICU ward beds at Sancheti with next-generation, contactless remote patient monitoring systems. These systems will continuously track vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, respiration rate, SPO2 levels and ECG, providing real-time insights and triggering early warning alerts when abnormalities are detected.
