Court accepted the claim of Ajmer Dargah Shiv Temple: The lower court has accepted the petition declaring the famous Dargah in Ajmer, Rajasthan as a Hindu temple. The court sent notice to all the parties and said that the next hearing will be on December 5. In fact, Vishnu Gupta of Hindu Sena had filed a petition in the court to declare the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer as a place of Hindu worship.
The court of Ajmer West Civil Judge Senior Division Manmohan Chandel heard the application on Wednesday. Meanwhile, taking cognizance of the claim of plaintiff Vishnu Gupta, Justice Manmohan Chandel directed to issue summon notice to the Dargah Committee, Minority Affairs and ASI and asked them to appear on the next date.
Hindu org.zations are calling the Dargah a Hindu temple.
Hindu org.zations have been calling Ajmer Dargah a temple for a long time. In the year 2022, Hindu org.zation Maharana Pratap Sena, claiming it to be a temple, had written a letter to the then Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot and the Central Government and asked them to investigate it. Officials of Maharana Pratap Army also sent a picture. In which it was claimed that there are Swastika marks on the windows of Ajmer Dargah. The founder of the org.zation, Rajvardhan Singh Parmar, claimed that the Ajmer Dargah was a Shiva temple, which was converted into a dargah.
