Palamu, 27 November (Hindustan Reporter). The 5227th birth anniversary of Magadh Emperor Jarasandha Maharaj was celebrated with enthusiasm and pomp on Wednesday under the auspices of Palamu unit of All India Chandravanshi Regional Mahasabha. The conference was org.zed at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Nagar Bhavan. A procession was taken out in the afternoon. In the morning, Magadha emperor Jarasandha was duly worshiped. The statue of Jarasandha ji was placed on a decorated vehicle in the procession. The procession toured the entire city.
The conference was jointly inaugurated by National General Secretary Sudesh Kumar Chandravanshi, Shailendra Kumar Shailu, State Vice President Vijay Chandravanshi. Puja committee’s welcoming chief Sudhir Chandravanshi, Jitendra Chandravanshi, Roshan Chandravanshi welcomed the guests.
On this occasion, National General Secretary Sudesh Kumar Chandravanshi said that Magadh Emperor Jarasandha has a glorious history. There is a need to seriously think about what condition our ancestors were in and what is the condition of all of us today? All this has happened due to lack of awareness and unity. He said that the first Chakravarti emperor of India was Maharaj Jarasandha.
On this occasion, Dr. Ganesh Chandravanshi said that the entire Chandravanshi family needs to worship Magadh Emperor Jarasandha Maharaj. He said that according to the Hindi and Hindu religious calendar, there has been a tradition of celebrating the birth anniversary of Maharaj Jarasandha every year on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month, which we know as Jethan. Therefore no one should have any doubt about this. On this day, the birth anniversary of Maharaj Jarasangha should be celebrated together all over India.
Vijay said that the Chakravarti Magadha emperor of undivided India, who was born in the lineage of Chandravanshi king King Brihadrata of the Magadha Empire during the Mahabharata period, who attained the Ekkshatra Empire, is the family deity of us Chandravanshis. We have ancestors and we are their descendants.
Shailesh Kumar Shailu said in his address that to strengthen the economic structure of the society, along with education, technical education will have to be increased, so that education can become employment oriented and only then qualitative development of the society is possible. Jugal Kishore ji said that if the society moves united then there will be no compromise with the rights of the Chandravanshis.
Sudhir Kumar Chandravanshi said that he will always be available to walk step by step for the upliftment of the society. The anniversary celebration was presided over by puja committee chairman Satish Chandravanshi. A large number of people of Chandravanshi community were present on the spot.
