Balrampur, 27 November (HS). In Balrampur, a girl was raped on the pretext of marriage. In this case, the victim has complained to the police station against 29-year-old Dilip Minj. The victim says that Dilip raped her several times on the pretext of marriage.
In this case, Balrampur police station in-charge Bhapendra Sahu said that the complaint of the victim was taken into consideration under section 64, 64(2) of BNS. He was arrested after prima facie evidence was found during the investigation of the case. Since the case was non-bailable and the investigation was incomplete, Dilip Minj was produced before the Balrampur Judicial Magistrate on Wednesday and sent to jail on judicial remand.
