Mumbai: Kriti Sen has claimed that the audience is responsible for nepotism in Bollywood. After this claim, people trolled him on social media.
Kriti, speaking at a session of the International Film Festival in Goa, said that the audience and the media are equally responsible for promoting nepotism. The media also gives more coverage to people from the film industry. Kriti also said that outsiders have to struggle more to survive here, but after two-three years of hard work no one can stop them.
People made mixed comments on this statement. How many people said that the producers do not take the consent of the audience while signing Nepo Kids. Some wrote that if only Nepo Kids’ films were doing well then Kriti’s claim would have been true, but in reality, there are many examples of one or two Nepo Kids films flopping.
