On the third working day of the week, the situation in the stock market once again appeared to be deteriorating. Talking about the market opening at 9.30 am, both Sensex and Nifty opened in the red. Sensex opened 75.29 points down at 79,928. While Nifty opened with a fall of 16.85 points at 24,177 points.
10 o’clock position
The stock market started in the red on Wednesday after Ad. Group denied the allegations made in America, but at 10 am there was a reversal, the Sensex closed 71 points higher at 80,075.06. While Nifty was seen at 24,213 points with a gain of 18.85 points.

Both the indices remained volatile after early trade. The BSE index rose 60.26 points to 80,055.58 and the Nifty rose 16.55 points to 24,211.10. Among the 30 Sensex listed comp.es, shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Ad. Ports, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra and NTPC rose. Shares of IndusInd Bank, Bharti Airtel, Tata Steel, UltraTech Cement declined.
