Lakhimpur Kheri, 26 November (HIST). Amidst the rosy cold, Punjabi singer B Praak’s Rooh Meri Tadpegi Ja. Dil Bhi Royega… filled the audience with warmth. The occasion was the first “Festival of Terai Soil, Lakhimpur Mahotsav-24” on the land of Lakhimpur Kheri. The festival grounds echoed with the songs of B Praak. On the demand of the audience, B Praak sang dil tod ke hansati ho mera, wafaayen meri yaad karogi.. and the audience went wild. After this the Punjabi singer tied the occasion with Punjabi songs.
Regarding the org.zation of the festival, District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal said that as per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Lakhimpur Mahotsav was org.zed for the first time in Lakhimpur Kheri to spread the importance of the heritage, culture and mythological heritage of the district to the people. The festival was inaugurated by Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh by lighting the lamp along with MLA Sadar Yogesh Verma, MLC Anoop Gupta, District President Sunil Singh, DM Durga Shakti Nagpal, SP Ganesh Prasad Saha, CDO Abhishek Kumar. After this, the morale of the artists who performed on the stage of Lakhimpur Utsav was boosted by honoring them with mementos. On the night of the festival, Punjabi singer B Praak enthralled the audience with his spectacular performances. B. Praak mesmerized the audience with his famous songs and the festival witnessed immense enthusiasm among the audience.

After this, presented Kismat Badalti Dekha, Je Hood Tu Bhi Badal Gaya. Bollywood and Punjabi singer B Praak rocked the festival stage with back to back songs like Meri Zindagi Se Jaane Ka Kya Loge Tum.. Mera Yaar Laughing Hai Baarish Ki Jaaye… filled the atmosphere with romanticism. There was a lot of magic in the night during the festival with B Praak’s performances on the colorful stage. People kept dancing to one presentation after another. Singer B Praak took the stage at 7 pm. The first presentation Main Kisi Aur Ka Hoon Raheem Ki Tera Ho Jaon…, enthralled the people.
Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh said that Lakhimpur Mahotsav is being org.zed for the first time in the district on the initiative of DM Durga Shakti Nagpal to highlight the cultural, natural and historical heritage of the district on a large scale. This festival will definitely give a new dimension to tourism. 30 local talents are being provided an opportunity to showcase their art in the Lakhimpur Mahotsav. He underlined the efforts and work done by the state government for tourism development.
