After the crushing defeat of Mahavikas Aghadi in Maharashtra Assembly elections, Shiv Sena (UTB) leader Sanjay Raut, former CJI D.Y. Serious allegations have been made against Chandrachud. He played a key role in the defeat of the MVA in the state by former CJI D.Y. Chandrachud has been held responsible.
Addressing the media after the Maharashtra Assembly election results were declared, Sanjay Raut called for a re-evaluation of the election process and demanded that elections in Maharashtra be conducted through ballot paper again. He said that EVM has been a big issue in this election. Let this result remain, but hold elections again through ballot paper and then show us such a result. He also said that Chandrachud is responsible for whatever has happened in Maharashtra. However, he did not give any detailed information for this. This comment of the Shiv Sena leader comes after his earlier statement in which he had accused the Mahayuti alliance of stealing seats. He made this comment at a time when Shiv Sena was leading on only 20 seats after NDA’s historic victory on the morning of counting of votes. A round of allegations and counter-allegations has started within the MVA. Many MVA leaders are pointing fingers at various reasons including the election process, party strategies and now judicial figures.
