Maha Vikas Aghadi: The alliance of Congress, NCP and Uddhav Sena has faced a crushing defeat in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. It has been three days since the results came, but still the leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi are not able to accept this defeat. Sanjay Raut is continuously raising questions on EVMs and saying that elections should be conducted through ballot paper.
Meanwhile, senior leader of Sharad Pawar’s party NCP Jitendra Awadh has also raised questions. “We cannot accept a single reason for our defeat,” he said. Not only this, Awad said, ‘I do not think that the Girl Sister Scheme can have that much impact.’
Jitendra Awhad expressed doubt
Jitendra Awad further said, ‘No single reason is coming to the fore. Nothing has changed since the elections. Unemployment and inflation have increased. The girl sister scheme does not have much effect. As you will see, we have won Chandrapur seat by a margin of 2,40,000. Now you see that 2,40,000 watts have been lost from above.
How did 1 lakh votes fall? This cannot be. The winning MLAs also said that sir, we have won, but somewhere there is a big issue of EVM. A movement may arise against this in the entire state. Many people of the village still say that when we did not vote, then where did so many votes come from?
Awad said, ‘There are 32 people in a family. All those people have voted for their local candidate. However, he is shown as having zero votes. How is this possible?’
Sanjay Raut demanded re-election
Earlier, Sanjay Raut had demanded that re-elections should be held and voting should be done through ballot paper. Raut said, ‘We have received about 450 complaints related to EVMs. Despite repeated objections, no action was taken in this regard. How can we say that these elections were conducted fairly? Therefore, I demand that the results be canceled and re-election be conducted through ballot paper.
Sanjay Raut said- 65 votes in the candidate’s family, but got only 4
Sanjay Raut said that a candidate in Nashik got only four votes, while there are 65 members in his family. He said discrepancies were found in the EVM count in Dombivali and the election officials refused to accept the objections.
The Shiv Sena UBT leader also questioned the credibility of the massive victory of some candidates and said, ‘What revolutionary work did they do that they got more than 1.5 lakh votes? Recently, leaders who changed parties have also become MLAs. Due to which suspicion is increasing. For the first time, Sharad Pawar has expressed doubt on EVMs which cannot be ignored.
