Bangladesh Hindu protest: Tension is rising after the arrest of Chinmoy Prabhu, who is leading protests against the oppression of Hindus in Bangladesh. Chinmoy Prabhu is a leading voice against discrimination and atrocities against the Hindu community in Bangladesh. ISKCON has issued a statement regarding Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari associated with ISKCON and has sought help from the Government of India for his release. Yunus government has arrested Chinmoy Prabhu on charges of treason.
ISKCON tweeted, “We have received disturbing news that one of the senior leaders of ISKCON Bangladesh, Mr. Chinmoy Krishna Das, has been detained by Dhaka Police. It is outrageous to make baseless allegations that ISKCON has anything to do with terrorism.” , It further states that “ISKCON urges the Government of India to take immediate action in this matter and to talk to the Government of Bangladesh that we are an org.zation running a peaceful Bhakti movement. We want the Bangladesh government to immediately release Chinmoy Krishna Das.” We also pray to Lord Krishna for the safety of these devotees.”

Chinmoy Krishnadas Brahmachari is a prominent leader of Bangladesh Sanatan Jagran Manch and President of Pundarik Dham of ISKCON Chittagong. He is commonly known as Chinmoy Prabhu. He is one of the strongest voices against the atrocities being committed against the Hindu community in Bangladesh. People took to the streets against the arrest
People of Hindu community took to the streets to protest against the arrest of Chinmay Prabhu. They were attacked by BNP and Jamaat people in which 50 Hindus were injured. According to reports, when extremist groups attacked Hindus in Chittagong, the administration and police remained mute spectators.
