According to the India Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at most places over coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from November 25 to 28. There is also a possibility of lightning in Karaikal and Yanam during this period.
Light to moderate rain may occur at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands this week and light to moderate rain may also occur over Nagaland, M.pur, Mizoram and Tripura between November 27 and 29. There is a possibility of rain in Assam and Meghalaya during 27-30 November.
Dense fog is likely to occur over parts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh during 27 to 29 November, over Himachal Pradesh till 28 November and over Uttar Pradesh during 28 to 30 November.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till 27 November, over Odisha during 27 to 29 November and over Gangetic West Bengal on 30 November.
At the same time, during November 27 to 28, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh (heavy rain alert) and heavy rain at isolated places.
