Yamunanagar, 25 November (Hindustan Reporter). On Monday night, bike-riding miscreants entered a jeweler’s shop in front of ESI Hospital in Yamunanagar and opened fire and looted it. The shop operator was shot in the stomach during the firing by the miscreants. Who has been immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment. On receiving the information, the Crime Branch and forensic team including the Superintendent of Police also reached the spot and started investigation. At present the police is busy scanning the CCTV cameras installed nearby.

On Monday night, bike-riding miscreants opened fire on Roshan Lal Jewelers and Sons in front of ESI Hospital. A bullet hit operator Shiv Kumar in the stomach. Whereas Satyaprakash, a vegetable seller standing at a street stall nearby, narrowly escaped. The bullet missed him. There is a hole in his jersey. Some jewelery was also looted from the shop. Which the police is investigating.

30-year-old Shiv Kumar and his brother Chetan, residents of Chhoti Line, were at their Roshan Lal and Sons shop. About six-seven miscreants came on three-four bikes. As soon as they arrived, the miscreants first fired three rounds outside the shop. While two-three associates of these miscreants entered the shop inside. As soon as they entered inside, they fired two-three rounds.

During this time a bullet hit Shiv Kumar in the stomach. The miscreants escaped after committing the crime. Injured Shiv Kumar was immediately admitted to the hospital. On receiving the information, CIA teams including Sector 17 police station reached the spot.

The Scene of Crime team also arrived and started the investigation. The footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized by the police. At that time the miscreants opened fire. Satyaprakash, a street vendor, had a narrow escape. However, a young man named Aman, who was buying vegetables near them, was hit by shrapnel in his arm.

Sector 17 police station in-charge Jasmer Gulia said that there was firing at the jeweller’s shop. One person has been shot. The investigation is still going on. Only after that will it be possible to know whether robbery has taken place.
