Mumbai: After South Star Suriya’s ‘Kanguwa’ flops at the box office, Suriya will compensate its makers. If any mega budget film flops in South, Rajinikanth and other actors compensate their producers in some way or the other. Surya is also following him. This film has been made with a budget of Rs 350 crore. But, she could not earn even Rs 100 crore at the ticket box. This film was released all India level but did not work even in Hindi.

The reviews of the film are also very bad.
In such a situation, Surya has decided not to take the full fee fixed earlier for ‘Kanguva’. Apart from this, he is also going to do another film of the same producers for less fees.

Earlier, Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettiyan’, made on a budget of more than Rs 300 crore, could not earn even Rs 250 crore. Then Rajinikanth also adopted the same path.

The failure of ‘Kanguva’ has also affected Surya’s career. The financiers of his film ‘Karna’ with Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra have given up. Due to this the film has now reached the top of the collection.
