It is very important for retired employees of Central Government, State Government and other government institutions. This shows whether the person receiving pension is alive or not. Through this certificate, pension continues without any interruption. It is difficult for the elderly to go to the bank or pension department again and again, hence the government has started the facility of life certificate.

How to submit from home using mobile

  • Department of Pensioners Welfare (DoPPW) is facilitating submission of life certificate through facial authentication
  • First of all pensioners have to download and install ‘AadhaarFaceRD’ ‘Jeevan Pramaan Face App’ in their smartphone with 5MP or more camera.
  • Keep your Aadhaar number with you. Go to Operator Authentication and scan your face. Fill in the required information. Take a photo of yourself with your phone’s front camera and submit it.
  • You will get a link to download the life certificate through SMS on your phone, you can download it and keep it with you.

Aadhaar-based digital life certificate: The certificate can be presented in digital form with the help of Aadhaar card.

Postman Service: Life certificate can also be easily submitted with the help of postman.

Door Step Banking App: Download Door Step Banking App and register through mobile number and enter OTP. Enter the PIN code and schedule a time, so that the bank official can come to your home and a nominal fee will be deducted from your bank account. The officer will come to your home at the time decided by the bank and collect the life certificate.
