According to sources, an artist named Partha Saha has presented this statue to the Governor. He has made this fiber statue based on the photograph of the Governor. He never met the Governor in person. The Governor’s office clarified that he did not create his statue himself but an artist had presented it. When TMC objected to this and said, ‘The Governor is getting his statue installed to glorify himself while he is alive.’
