Jharkhand News: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) led alliance has won the Jharkhand Assembly elections. With this, Hemant Soren has succeeded in re-establishing his government. This will be the first time after the formation of Jharkhand state, when a government has got the mandate for the second term. Hemant Soren reached Raj Bhavan and met Governor Santosh Gangwar and submitted his resignation, then staked claim to form the government. The swearing-in ceremony of the new government is likely to be held in Ranchi on November 28.

Hemant Soren staked claim to form government

Jharkhand Chief Minister and JMM working president Hemant Soren submitted his resignation to Governor Santosh Gangwar at Raj Bhavan on Sunday evening. Along with this, he also staked claim to form the government. India Bloc has secured majority with 56 seats in the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly. Hemant Soren-led JMM won 34 seats, while its ally Congress won 16, RJD 4 and CPIML 2.

The swearing in ceremony will take place in Jharkhand on 28th November.

Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahay says that the swearing-in ceremony of the new government of Jharkhand will be held on November 28. Let us tell you that in Jharkhand elections, India Block has achieved majority by winning 56 seats. NDA got 24 seats. JLKM won one seat.
