Mirzapur, 23 November (HS). The counting of votes for the by-election of Majhwan Assembly was completed peacefully and impartially. District Election Officer Priyanka Niranjan handed over the victory certificate to the winning candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party, Mrs. Suchismita Maurya.
Congratulating the administrative officers, policemen, employees and media representatives for the smooth conduct of vote counting, the District Election Officer said that everyone’s cooperation in successfully conducting this great festival of democracy was commendable.
