Congress victory
From Dausa seat, Congress candidate Deen Dayal has defeated BJP candidate Jagmohan by a lead of 2300 votes. It is noteworthy that before the by-elections, Jhunjhunu, Ramgarh, Dausa and Deoli Uniara seats were with Congress. However, in the by-election, BJP gave only Dausa seat to Congress and snatched three other seats from Congress.
Congress’s bail was confiscated
The results of Khinvsar were shocking. From this seat, Hanuman Beniwal’s wife K.ka Beniwal lost the election from Rashtriya Loktantrik Party to Revatram Danga of BJP. The main reason for this is believed to be that in order to defeat Hanuman here, some Congress MLAs shifted their votes to BJP. In the year 2023, Revatram got about 77 thousand votes from Khinvsar. This time he got 1,08,625 votes. That means there are about 41 thousand votes more than the last election. Also, his nearest rival K.ka Beniwal lost by 92,727 votes. Also, Congress candidate Ratan Choudhary had to lose his deposit from here. The Congress candidate got only 5,454 votes.
There was an atmosphere of confusion till the end even on Salumber seat. Here BJP was trailing by 21 rounds. But, in the last round the tables turned and Shanta Amritlal Meena won by 1285 votes. Before the by-election, Salumber was the only seat which was held by BJP.
