Punjab News: Counting of votes is going on today for the by-elections held on four assembly seats of Punjab. Counting for Dera Baba Nanak by-election has started at 8 am. This counting is taking place at the local Sukhjindra Group of Institute, Gurdaspur.

A three-tier security arrangement has been set up around the counting centres, for which Punjab Police personnel and Central Armed Forces have been deployed and the counting centers are being monitored through CCTV. This is being done through cameras. Deputy Commissioner said that 11 candidates participated in the by-election of Assembly Constituency 10-Dera Baba Nanak and 64.01 percent voting took place.
