Dhaka: The interim (interim) government of Mohammad Yunus, formed after a huge political storm in Bangladesh, has taken charge. Now that the situation has calmed down, the Yunus government is in a dilemma due to the pressure of holding early elections in the country.

Student leaders, who led a political storm in July and August, are demanding a ban on Sheikh Hasina’s party, the Awami League. On the other hand, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its allies, despite being Awami League’s rival party, are opposed to banning Awami League from contesting elections, saying that all parties should be present in the country’s politics. .

At present, Awami League is still the largest party in Bangladesh. After this is BNP. On one hand student leaders are demanding a ban on Awami League and on the other hand B.N.P. The current interim government of Mohammad Yunus is in a dilemma, opposing such a ban. There is pressure on him to conduct elections in the country as soon as possible.

BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir told reporters that Awami League is also a political party. They should decide whether to contest elections or not, but for killing people and looting the country’s money, legal action should be taken against them and fine and punishment should be given.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh Nationalist Party leader Khaleda Zia was present at the Bangladesh Armed Forces Day (Bang Vahini Day) celebrations. After being released from jail in 2018, he participated in a public program for the first time.
