Gujarat Weather Forecast: Since the heat came directly after the late departure of monsoon from Gujarat, it was scorching heat even during the Diwali festivities. Although cold has taken hold in Gujarat since last few days, the severity of cold is visible only in the morning and evening after sunset. In such a situation, well-known meteorologist Ambalal Patel has made a big prediction regarding the cold in the coming days.

According to Ambalal Patel, a disturbance may be seen in the Bay of Bengal in the beginning of next December. If the active cyclone in the Bay of Bengal moves towards the coast of Andhra and Odisha, the weather may reverse in parts of South Gujarat and Saurashtra. Where the possibility of untoward incident cannot be ruled out.

If we talk about cold, during the next 48 hours the intensity of cold may increase in Mehsana, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Kutch, Panchmahal, Amreli, Surat, Valsad and Rajkot. The minimum temperature in this part is likely to go up to 13 degrees. Due to which severe cold will be felt in the early morning and after sunset.

There is a possibility of cold winds on 7th December. Whereas from December 22, there may be heavy snowfall in the northern hilly areas of the country. So a big cold wave will come on 22nd December. Due to which the minimum temperature in some parts of Gujarat may fall by 8 to 10 degrees.
