Ramgarh, 20 November (HS). Voting process has started on Wednesday after mock poll at 406 booths of Ramgarh Assembly. DC Chandan Kumar and SP Ajay Kumar first took stock of the control room. During this, he also inspected the web casting being done from all the polling stations.
DC has appealed that everyone should come out of their homes and exercise their franchise. Tight security arrangements have been made at all the polling stations in Ramgarh district. The district administration is committed to conducting peaceful and fair elections. There are queues of voters at the booths from Ramgarh city to the villages. People are also sharing their selfies on social media after voting.
EVM was not changed at any booth
Mock poll was conducted at 5:00 am in booth 406 of Ramgarh Assembly. During this time, agents of all the candidates were also present there. There has been no information about EVM malfunction or replacement at any booth. DC said that voting had started on time. Mobile phones are not allowed within 100 meters of the booth. Voters can take their selfie after voting. Selfie points have also been made at many polling stations, so that voters can be attracted there. Many model booths have also been built, where there are better arrangements for the voters.
