The University of Sheffield, UK, is inviting applications for the MSc in Biomedical Engineering course starting in September 2025.
About the course
Computational medicine, medical imaging, and biomaterials are all combined in the MSc in Biomedical Engineering program. In order to integrate biology and medicine with engineering and, eventually, solve problems related to living systems, it equips students with the medical background, specialised knowledge, and theoretical and practical skills necessary.
The biomaterials sector and key elements in the selection, design, and development of biomaterials for therapeutic applications are introduced to students in this course.
Students can modify the course to fit their research projects and areas of interest. They will have multiple options to investigate their area of interest through elective modules and a comprehensive research project. Biomaterials, biomech.cs, virtual reality, and 3D visualisation techniques are among the optional modules.
