Jabalpur, 18 November (HS). There was chaos in the government hospital of Katangi on Monday due to a sudden short circuit in the power line at the main gate. The loud sound and spark emanating from this short circuit gained momentum. This sudden incident created p.c among the people present in the hospital. During this time, newborn children, pregnant women and all other patients present in the hospital were frightened by this incident. The health workers present in the hospital informed the authorities including the electricity department about this incident. After some time, the electricity in the hospital was switched off and the electrical system was repaired. Then somewhere people felt relieved. If the electricity had not been switched off in time, the possibility of a serious accident could not have been ruled out.
It is noteworthy that recently 10 newborn children died in a fire caused by short circuit in a hospital in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. An alert was declared in all the districts of the state regarding this incident. Due to this entire incident, a large number of people from nearby areas also gathered in the hospital. Due to this incident of short circuit in the hospital, the people present in the hospital remained scared until the electrical system was repaired.
