Korba, 18 November (Hindus). Police raided Rogbahari forest of Balko police station area on information about gambling and caught more than a dozen accused red handed. Police have seized Rs 12,500 in cash, 14 mobile phones, 5 motorcycles and 1 car from the accused.
The accused have been identified as Daulat Thakur, Pramod Kurre, Nanki Ram Sahu, Jai Shankar M.kpuri, Kailash Das Vaishnav, Sukhsagar Patel, Parmanand Kewat, Rajdev Sahni, Surendra Singh, Purushottam Sahu, Dhaneshwar Singh, Mohd. Naushad, Vimlesh Sahu and Santosh Kumar Yadav. Police have also recovered 52 patti (cards) from the accused.
In this action, Balco police station in-charge Abhinav Kant Singh, Cyber Cell’s SSI Ajay Sonw. and the Balco police team have played an important role.
