Narnail, 18 November (Hindustan Reporter). The tenth convocation ceremony of Haryana Central University Hakevi, Mahendragarh was org.zed on Monday. The chief guest of the program was the Governor of Haryana, Honorable Bandaru Dattatreya, while the Vice Chancellor of Punjab Central University, Prof. Raghavendra Prasad Tiwari attended the convocation ceremony as the special guest.
In the tenth convocation ceremony of Hakevi, a total of 1338 students and researchers were awarded PhD, MPhil, graduate and post graduate degrees. Also, 46 students were honored with gold medals for their remarkable performance. In the convocation ceremony, degrees were awarded to 192 students in B.Tech and 83 students in B.Voc under undergraduate courses and 990 students were awarded degrees in postgraduate courses. 65 researchers were awarded PhD and eight were awarded MPhil. Of the 1338 students and research scholars, 803 are boys and 535 are girls.
Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, while congratulating all the students receiving degrees, said that the convocation ceremony is the most memorable occasion of student life. You are the present and future of the country. Special guest at the convocation, Prof. Raghavendra Prasad Tiwari, while congratulating all the degree holders, said that today is the day of determination to fulfill the dreams. Students should pledge to contribute towards building a new, prosperous and ambitious India. Today is the day for students to move from Gyan Yoga to Karma Yoga. By becoming not only thinkers but also doers, students will have to play an active role in realizing the vision of Amritkaal by contributing to the building of a new India. Referring to the progress of the university, Prof. Tiwari also praised Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar and his team.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Punjab Central University Prof. Raghavendra Prasad Tiwari, Vice Chancellor of Chaudhary Bansi Lal University Bhiw. Prof. Deepti Dharm., District Deputy Commissioner Dr. Vivek Bharti and Superintendent of Police Pooja Vashishtha and heads of various departments of the university were present.
