It is noteworthy that there was a demand for setting up a medical college in Ujjain for a long time. After the construction of the medical college, the people of Ujjain will get special health facilities, and the people of the city will not have to go to big cities for complex health procedures.

Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh said on Saturday that in view of the long standing demand of the people of the city, the Chief Minister had announced the opening of a medical college in Ujjain. In view of the same, Bhoomi Pujan will be performed by the Chief Minister on 21st November.

It is noteworthy that this will be a modern building with 600 beds. It will have G+13 floors and will be equipped with all the latest equipment. All necessary medical related facilities will be provided here and patients will be treated by expert doctors. After the construction of the medical college, the people of the surrounding districts of Ujjain division will benefit from it. In this, the facility of international doctors will also be available through the facility of telemedicine. In this, along with modern health facilities, special health facilities will be available 24 hours even in case of emergency.

The Government Medical College will be constructed by demolishing the old buildings in the District Hospital Complex and Sankranti Raje Complex. In the college, 9 storey college building with 150 seats, 10 storey hospital building with 605 beds along with boys and girls hostel, nurse hostel and hostel for resident doctors, 3, 13 storey building and 2, 10 storey building were constructed in the Raje campus. Have to go. A total of 1268 people will be able to reside in it. In order to facilitate traffic between both the campuses, a foot over bridge will also be built on Agar Road. It is noteworthy that the administrative approval of the project is Rs 592.33 crore and its construction is to be completed in the next 36 months.

Collector took a review meeting for the preparations for the Bhoomi Pujan program of the Medical College.

Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh on Saturday held a review meeting in the meeting room of the Administrative Complex Building to review the preparations for the Bhoomi Poojan program of the grand medical college to be built in Ujjain by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on 21st November. The Collector said in the meeting that it is a matter of great joy for all of us that a medical college is going to be built in Ujjain. There was a demand for building a medical college here for a long time.

He said that efforts should be made to include the people, youth, students and various sections of the city in the Bhoomi Pujan program. Invitation letters for the program should be sent to all health institutions. Banners and hoardings of the program should be put up at various places in the city. Good wishes messages should be made by public representatives and circulated on social media. Also, the message should be broadcasted through LED screens at major places in the city. Various seminars should be org.zed before the Bhoomi Pujan program, and rallies should also be org.zed by the Nursing College and School Education Department. A plan should be made to org.ze a bike rally on 20th November.
