75% attendance is mandatory to appear in 10th and 12th board exams.
Just a few days ago, the Central Board of Secondary Education had issued a notice to its affiliated schools reminding them that 75% attendance of students is mandatory to appear in the 10th and 12th board exams. If a student’s school attendance is less than 75%, he/she will be ineligible to appear in the board exams. CBSE has said in its guidelines that the board can give 25% relaxation in some cases like medical emergency, participation in national sports or any other serious reason etc. To get this relief, the student will have to show the relevant documents.
